We are a team of people that have the goal to provide for the visually impaired solutions using 3D printers. These solutions are 3D printed maps, tactile representation of art, and 3D educational material for schools and institutions.

At Feelform we are producing tactile educational material such us historical maps, geographical maps, copy of famous art (statues and paintings), architecture, astronomy , tactile children books, and whatever the community is asking for. As an example once we were asked to produce the jaws of the shark, in order for blind people to understand the title of the known movie.

Moreover we plan to create an online tool that will give the opportunity to the VI community to create custom tactile maps of their neighborhood that we will 3d print and then ship to the client.

Also we have the appropriate knowhow to provide to museums and galleries accessibility services by scanning, 3d printing and tactile representation of statues, paintings as well as museum maps and appropriate tactile labeling.

Είμαστε μια ομάδα που έχουμε ως σκοπό να παρέχουμε στους τυφλούς λύσεις χρησιμοποιώντας 3D εκτυπωτές. Αυτές οι λύσεις είναι τρισδιάστατοι χάρτες, αντίγραφα τέχνης για ψηλάφιση καθώς και εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για σχολεία και οργανισμούς.

Με την χρήση της τεχνολογίας της τρισδιάστατης εκτύπωσης σκοπεύουμε να παρέχουμε λύσεις στα προβλήματα που αναφέρθηκαν παραπάνω, εκμεταλευόμενοι τα πλεονεκτήματα της (χαμηλό κόστος κατασκευής, customization, μηδενική ελάχιστη παραγωγή), με την κατασκευή για τα άτομα με προβλήματα όρασης εκπαιδευτικού υλικού (ανάγλυφους ιστορικούς χάρτες, γεωγραφία, τέχνη, αρχιτεκτονική κτλ) καθώς και αστικών χαρτών για προσανατολισμό στην πόλη και στα μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς. Επίσης στόχος μας είναι η αντιγραφή και παραγωγή έργων τέχνης προκειμένου να ανοίξουμε την εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία των μουσείων και στα τυφλά άτομα.
